How to paint your nails
I. Introduction
What is the point of painting your nails? Painting nails in an activity that many people enjoy and often go to people to do. I would like everyone to know how to paint their nails because money is often wasted by going to the nail salon and have their nails done. Time is wasted when one goes to the nail salon. I would like individuals to be able to paint their nails during their free time, when their in a rush, or just for fun. Here is the materials you need:
1 nail file
Nail polish remover
Nail polish (color choice is up to you)
Clear coat
Cotton balls
Keep nail polish remover away from children, it can be very toxic to their health. Also, avoid directly inhaling the nail polish remover; it has a strong odor.
II. Instructions
a) If you have nail polish on your hands already, clean it with the nail polish remover. To do this, take the nail polish remover and pour it on to the cotton ball. Make sure you don’t put too much, only a little is needed. Next, you put the cotton ball, now soaked with nail polish remover, on a nail of your choice, and rub it in a circular pattern. You should be able to see the nail polish come off easily. Once that nail is done, repeat the steps for the rest of your nails.
b) Now that your nails are clean, and the nail polish removed, it is best to make sure your nails are cut evenly. A nail clipper is not needed; nail files are the way to go. To use a nail file, make sure you are using the rough side of nail file. Next, you put the nail file up to a nail of your choice, and go back and forth until you are satisfied with the length of your nails. When doing this, make sure you shape the nails and curve the nail file when your nail curves. After that nail is done, repeat steps for the rest of your nails. When done, all your nails should be the same length. You can measure this by looking at it with your eyes and making an educated guess.
c) After your nails are evenly cut, you move on to the actual painting of the nails. First, the color you chose is what you need. You take that color and open it. At the end of the cover, you see a brush. Dip the brush into the nail polish, and then wipe it at the top of the nail polish bottle. Apply the nail polish brush on the nail of your choice. Make sure you use gentle strokes and using the same pattern. Go from the bottom of your nails to the top and make sure you don’t paint any part of your skin. If you do, that is where the nail polish remover comes in. Any mistake that you make, you just dip a cotton ball in the nail polish remover and clean any nail polish that appears in places they shouldn’t. Once you do one nail, repeat for the other nails.
d) Once you finished painting your nails, wait 10 minutes. You will know if it is dry by how hard it is.
e) After your nails are dry, it is time for the clear coat. The clear coat is needed to make sure the original nail polish color of your choice doesn’t chip and it also adds a glow. To apply the clear coat, you do the same thing you did when you applied the color of your choice.
f) After you finish the clear coat, wait ten minutes to dry.
g) Once nails are dry, clean up and store materials to use next time.
III. Conclusion
If you followed the steps correctly, then your nails should be hard and dry. There should be no smears on the nails. It should have glow of some kind and evenly cut nails. Hope you enjoy painting your nails.
